Eyes or Lips?

Considering it is the Holiday Season, I thought I'd put up two of the makeup looks I've worn over the last week or so. When given a choice between eyes and lips, I usually go for eyes without question, dark smokey sultry eyes are my go-to when it comes to parties. On the other hand, there is something about Christmas that makes you want to bust out the red lip, so this time I've decided to bring to you two looks focusing on different features.

In the first picture - its all about the red lip. Ruby Woo takes centre stage - as it seems the most Christmas Appropriate - This is also a Christmas FOTD. The face is very very simple, MUFE Full Cover Concealer in 10 to hide 'em pesky blemishes, a bit of bronzer - NARS Casino to sculpt those cheekbones and define that crease, and a light dusting of MAC's Amber Lights Eyeshadow right in the centre of the lid, finished off with lots and lots of Max Factor's Flase Lash Effect Mascara (new favorite? I think so)

The second picture, however, is more up my alley. A traditional silvery smokey eye, a nude lip and flawless (well, almost - as flawless as my very blemished face can appear) skin. Creep and Gunmetal from the UD Naked palette over a base of Maybelline's Black Gel Liner blended out with Inglot's 357 Matte.
For the face I used Giorgio Armani Luminious Silk Foundation in 7.5 and a bit of the MUFE Full Cover Concealer over it. NARS Casino made its regular appearance and MAC's Velvet Teddy sealed the deal. Overall, I'm really happy with the way this turned out, very Kim K (as much as I may dislike her - I've got to admit, her makeup artist knows his shit.)
